Summer Activities
There is fantastic paragliding, hiking and mountain biking available all year round in the Giffre Valley.
In the summer there is a lovely outdoor swimming pool in Samoens and there is rafting, canoeing and swimming in lakes such
as Lac Bleu. In July the Tour de France often routes over the challenging Col de Jeu between Samoens and Morzine.

Bars and Restaurants
There are some high quality restaurants in the villages that make up the Grand Massif domaine including Le
Monde in Samoens and Les Servages in Les Carroz. On the piste, there are some lovely mountain huts serving good mountain food
such as La Brasserie in Molliet, L'Igloo at Morillon and at Lac de Gers on the Cascade run.
